Overall our experience at the T-REX Restaurant was fun! I’m sure our boys will definitely want to go back the next time we take a Disney vacation. He also really enjoyed his meal and didn’t even want dessert! Not right away, at least. His burger came with a side of waffle fries and a pickle. He ordered the Bronto Burger, but asked for no toppings except for cheese and added bacon. We had Jaxon order off the adult menu, since the kid’s meals are typically not enough for him anymore. While I really loved my meal, Daryl felt his was on-par to what you would get at Applebee’s or somewhere similar. He had a steak, a shrimp skewer, and a shrimp scampi. I’m not quite sure what the actual name of his meal was, but it included smaller portions of three different entrees. This meal was huge! I couldn’t finish it all, but I also couldn’t stop taking “just one more bite!” This is most definitely the reason desserts were not ordered! Surf and Turf Trio Specialĭaryl also ordered off of the specials menu. It’s served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The Meteor Meatloaf was on a special menu, however, if it’s available when you visit, I highly recommend it! It’s a huge serving of meatloaf covered in a sweet barbecue sauce and topped with crispy onions. I am never too keen on seafood-based dips, but I’m all for cheese dips! This comes with Shrimp and Artichoke Dip as well as Chili Con Queso Dip so we were both happy. My fiance, Daryl, wanted to order the Dual Dip as an appetizer. The lighting is very dim and we did not want to disturb other diners by using the flash on the camera. I apologize for the lack of quality in the photos. We did not use our Disney Dining Plan for this meal and therefore, did not order nearly as much. I do feel that this restaurant is more about the experience than the food. About every 15 minutes or so, it gets really dark and sounds as if you’re in the middle of a storm. There is even an ice cave that changes colors as you dine. As soon as my 10-year-old, Jaxon, saw that there was a dinosaur-themed restaurant, we pretty much knew he wouldn’t be happy going anywhere else.Īs soon as you walk in you will see an amazing display of decor with animated dinosaurs throughout. Our plan was to spend the first part of the day, including lunch, in Disney Springs. On our most recent vacation to Disney World, we took a super early flight and arrived in Florida around 9:00am. Disney Springs T-REX Restaurant Lunch Review We did not have reservations for this meal, and had only a 5-10 minute wait to be seated. Sometimes my 2-year-old just ate from our plates, and sometimes we ordered additional food for him at an additional cost. Anyone under 3 is free so long as they just share food from other peoples plates. The Deluxe Dining Plan treats anyone 10 and up as an adult, so my 10-year-old son ordered off the regular menu for all of our meals. Disney is changing the plan slightly for 2018, but it seems that it will just include even more options! In addition, each person also receives 2 snacks per day. This plan includes an entree and beverage for breakfast, and an appetizer, entree, and dessert for lunch and dinner. We purchased the Deluxe Dining Plan while booking our trip through the Disney website. While I might not recommend visiting during that week due to the insane amount of people who visit during that time, I would recommend every single restaurant we were fortunate to eat at! My family and I planned a trip to Walt Disney World during the week of Thanksgiving 2017. It’s hard to miss the life-sized dinosaur out front and as soon as they see it, bam! You know where your next meal is going to be coming from. When you travel to Disney Springs with young children, you will mostly likely end up at the T-REX restaurant for either lunch or dinner. This Disney Springs T-REX Restaurant lunch review is based on my experience when visiting the restaurant in November 2017 with my family.

Partners in the program are seeking to maximize the use of the aging station through 2030. The first module for the ISS, Zarya, was launched in 1998. SpaceNews understands that the timeline for such launches is around four years from now.Īn expanded Tiangong would be just over a third of the mass of the roughly 450-metric-ton International Space Station (ISS). Taillights are another piece of attraction with the four-piece units similar to the ones seen in Husqvarna motorcycles. Thanks to the carbon fibre body structure and an aluminium space frame, X-Bow GT-XR weighs only 1,130 kg. ![]() Other visual highlights include fin-like elements in the rear and a large wing spoiler, both aiding the car’s aerodynamic efficiency. The door opens in a spaceship-style canopy through the roof as a single-piece unit with hydraulic assistance. It gets a double-seat layout cabin derived from Formula 3 race cars and underpinned by a monocoque chassis. Designed by the Austrian brand’s in-house subsidiary KISKA, X-Bow GT-XR adopts a minimalistic approach, relying on sharp edges, clear lines and smooth surfaces– draped in a carbon fibre body shell. The new KTM X-Bow GT-XR looks like a typical hypercar with shades of contemporary race car brands like Lamborghini and McLaren. The Audi-sourced engine isn't exactly fuel efficient, but thanks to the lightweight construction and a massive 25.3-gallon gas tank, the automaker claims the GT-XR is capable of traveling up to 620 miles on a single tank. From WRC to 24 Hours of Le Mans, Audi eyes the F1 podium in 2026 Design You won't have to worry about an excessive thirst for fuel, either. It won't fill the role of the family SUV, but with 5.6 cubic feet of trunk space, the KTM GT-XR will easily swallow two (very small) overnight bags for an impromptu trip up the mountain. There's even a fully-integrated sound system with Bluetooth, should you tire of the raucous five-pot soundtrack. Austere and focused it may be, but the cabin has creature comforts such as air-conditioning, power-assisted steering, and a rear-view camera. KTM hasn't forgotten that this is a road car, and has included myriad features. The front spoiler creates vortices that are routed around the floor, which creates a seal of air beneath the vehicle, sucking it into the road. However, the KTM's aerodynamic party piece has to be the AirCurtain system. KTM promises remarkable stopping power and longevity but notes an even lighter (and stronger) ceramic system is available as an option. The design allows cool air to flow through, ensuring optimum performance at all times. Fashioned out of aluminum, the monoblock fixed design boasts eight calipers per piston at the rear. The ABS-equipped braking system is particularly impressive. ![]() Drivers can also adjust the ride height at the front and rear if they wish. Speaking of which, the GT-XR employs specially designed Sachs suspension which has been tuned to provide immense levels of grip. It also serves as a mounting point for the transmission, engine unit, and rear suspension. Not only does it promote rigidity but, thanks to clever packaging, ensures the best possible protection in the event of a crash. Let's start with the tubular steel rear frame. Underneath the dramatically styled bodywork, clever engineering abounds. But a car such as this is about so much more than on-paper figures. The GT-XR dispatches 62 mph in a rapid 3.4 seconds before running out of steam at 174 mph. This translates into startling straight-line performance. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Volkswagen Group-sourced seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The turbocharged motor now produces a muscular 493 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque - not bad for a car with a dry weight of 2,491 lbs. However, KTM has turned up the wick by improving the 2.5-liter five-cylinder mill. In fact, the safety cell tips the scales at a mere 196 pounds.Īs we've previously reported, the X-Bow GT-XR is powered by the same engine found in the Audi RS3. Fashioned out of carbon fiber, KTM claims it is one of the lightest and safest examples in the industry and boasts the highest level of torsional stiffness ever seen in a road car. The lightweight chassis is remarkable and provides the newcomer with most of its agility. Based on the proven underpinnings of the X-Bow GT2 racer, the boutique automaker describes it as "the closest you can get to a purebred race car in a road-legal vehicle." That's not just marketing nonsense, either - this is a phenomenal machine. After numerous teasers and spy shots, KTM has finally lifted the lid on its all-new X-Bow GT-XR. There's also the Power Up, which is an Ultimate Ears-branded charger that gets rid of any unsightly wires. ![]() ![]() When the power runs dry, you can whip out your trusty micro USB cable plug your speaker into a wall socket or other USB-friendly port to juice it back up. Outfitted with a powerful Lithium-Ion battery, the Boom 3 can keep the jams, podcasts, audiobooks, and whatever else you listen to coming for up to 15 straight hours on a single charge, depending on environmental factors. If the speaker is physically damaged enough for the battery to need changing, it's likely you've got much bigger issues to worry about. It's meant for action, meaning that as long as everything is functioning properly when you open the box, no drop, jostle, or flood should harm your battery, eliminating the need for replacements due to accidents. Updated June 2018: Updated to include the Megaboom and to note that the Boom 1 is discontinued. What's more, the exterior of the speaker is covered in a special light-shifting fabric originally engineered for fire equipment and motorcycle jackets. Price-wise, it's really not that big of a jump. If you're looking to be able to pump things a bit louder without distortion, want to make a stereo pair, and don't mind a somewhat bulkier (though still very portable) speaker, then check out the Megaboom. If you're looking for something very portable, then the UE Boom 2 should be your decision. The UE Boom 2 has come down to the point where it's the same price or less (in some cases) than its predecessor. The bottom lineĪt this point, The UE Boom 1 shouldn't even be a consideration for you. You can even activate Double Up Lock, which will make the two Megabooms pair up the next time you power them on together. The Megaboom has the ability to "Double Up," which lets you pair two Megabooms together. Wireless speaker systems are becoming more prevalent, so the ability to create stereo pairs is popping up all over the place, even with inexpensive speakers like those from Ultimate Ears. The boom 2 comes in a bunch of different flavors and prices jump around, starting around $99 for the After Hours edition and getting up around $150 for others. Now that the UE Boom 1 has been discontinued, you can still get it on Amazon, but the price has jumped from $120 up to $144 for the just the black model, and you can't get the other straight from Amazon or straight from UE anymore. To compare, the Bose Soundlink, one of the best Bluetooth speakers available, only has a range of 30 feet. The UE Boom 2, on the other hand, doubles that range to 100 feet, meaning you'll have incredibly clear sound from really far away. Just how far away can you be from a UE Boom while it's playing? The UE Boom 1 boasts a 50-foot mobile range, which is rather impressive for Bluetooth. The Megaboom, being larger, has a larger battery and can last for up to 20 hours of playback. It takes almost 3.5 hours to charge the UE Boom 1, while the UE Boom 2 shaves off an entire hour, going from 0 to 100% in 2.5 hours. While the battery life remains the same between the Boom 1 and 2, at 15 hours (depending on usage and environmental conditions), the UE Boom 2 massively improves on charge time. The 1 was only splash-proof, so the upgrade is stark and a massive boon for the 2 and Mega. The UE Wonderboom 2 and UE Boom 3 share similar features, including an IP67 waterproof and dust-resistance certification, portable design, and lifejacket-like flotation abilities. IPX7 means that the UE Boom 2 and Megaboom can be submerged into 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Like Tech Radar said, " what used to be the best Bluetooth speaker around for most occasions is now the best one for every occasion." ![]() ![]() While the UE Boom 1 had an IPX4 water and dust-resistance rating, the 2 and Mega have an IPX7, which means they're all but waterproof and shock-proof. This is where the UE Boom 2 and Megaboom shine over the 1. It's frequency range is a little larger, at 65Hz to 20kHz to the Boom 2's 90Hz to 20kHz, so it will produce a deeper, warmer bass, and it'll produce even less (if any) distortion at high volumes. With the Megaboom, you'd think the larger size would make for a louder speaker, but UE's site states that the Megaboom is only rated to 90dbA, so it's actually on-par with the Boom 2. ![]() Seipasa also has the advantage of the extensive in-house knowledge it has developed in relation to this product, thanks to the identification of the more than 90 different botanical molecules it comprises, allowing the selection and extraction of the best of each active substance to ensure the product's maximum efficacy in all types of conditions of application. Septum is also an excellent alternative for use in resistance management. It produces the breakdown and dehydration of fungal tissues and interrupts sporulation of fungi. Septum is effective right from the outset of the disease as it has both a preventive and curative effect. Solutions for treating early blight in potato When the first symptoms of early blight in potato ( Alternaria solani) appear, Seipasa recommends applying Septum, a powerful natural solution with a fungicidal action developed from a select combination of phenol molecules, saponins, flavonoids and silicic acid obtained from Equisetum arvense extract which, isolated and in a balanced proportion give the product its extremely high efficacy. In colder zones and with later varieties, infections by this fungus are rarer. The risk is even higher when there are several consecutive days of morning dews. The guide to integrated pest management in potato, published by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture cautions that the disease develops more quickly in periods of alternating wet and dry conditions. This is especially highlighted in the chorus, with the lyrics "Modern loneliness, we're never alone / But always depressed, yeah / Love my friends to death / But I never call and I never text, yeah". I think that’s why as a generation, we feel so alone all of the time. Humans are built for real community and connection, and I think we are missing that from our world right now, due to social media.
